Meet Dr. Dhillon
Dr. Navjot Dhillon completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in upstate New York.
He graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
In his senior year, he was awarded distinction for outstanding clinical work in the areas of prosthetic dentistry (crowns & bridges), implantology and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Dhillon continuously takes continuing education courses to stay ahead of the latest technological and scientific advances in dentistry. This allows him the opportunity to formulate and discuss the most comprehensive treatment plans with his patients, allowing them to be active participants in their dental care.
Dr. Dhillon takes pride in offering the highest level of care and services to each and every patient he sees. He is determined to provide patients with a smile they can feel confident about. Dr. Dhillon is pleased to offer a soothing and anxiety free dental experience!
British Columbia is home for Dr. Dhillon, and he is glad to bring his passion and attention to patients in the Maple Ridge area, to ensure a comprehensive and enjoyable dental experience. Away from the office, Dr. Dhillon enjoys music festivals, hiking and exploring, time with his family and especially his daughter, and following Liverpool FC.

Comprehensive Restorative Dentistry
Kois Center — Seattle, WA
Completed the Kois Center curriculum in comprehensive restorative dentistry, with the final treatment-planning course outstanding. The Kois Center is the only dental continuing-education institute in North America that conducts and publishes its own independent research, updating every course each year against new evidence.
Implant Dentistry
Advanced Implant Esthetics — Dr. Snježana Pohl, Croatia
Hands-on training in Croatia with Dr. Pohl, qualified in both medicine and dentistry, an oral surgery specialist and EDA-certified in periodontology and implantology. She heads oral surgery at Rident Clinic and is an assistant professor at the University of Rijeka School of Dental Medicine. The focus is minimally invasive technique — partial extraction therapy, use of the patient's own tissue, osseodensification, and her published mIVAN technique for soft-tissue esthetics around implants.
Implant Dentistry Continuum™ — Dr. Arun Garg
Four two-day sessions covering the surgical, soft-tissue and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry, including cadaver and live-patient placement. Dr. Garg is a former Professor of Surgery and Director of Residency Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Root Canal Therapy
Both hands-on endodontic courses — Dr. Mark Olesen, North Vancouver
Shaping, Cleaning and Obturation of Root Canal Systems and Re-treatment and Other Complex Cases, each half lecture and half hands-on work on extracted teeth in small groups. Dr. Olesen trained in dentistry at UBC and completed the graduate endodontics program at the University of Southern California. His courses are deliberately unsponsored — no manufacturer pays to have its products taught.
